Celebration


Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.

For the past six days you’ve focused on Christ and put Him first. Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (ESV). When we put God first, it allows Him to bless everything else we do.

Remember, your revolution doesn’t stop today. God desires to be involved in every area of your life and He wants to spend time with you everyday. To help you put God first, we’ve designed Revolution as a 365-day devotional with tools that help you grow deeper with God each day.

Take the day to praise God for what He has done through this week of fasting and prayer. Psalm 150 says to praise the Lord. Praise Him for all He has done; praise Him loudly, praise Him with enthusiasm, praise Him with “loud clashing cymbals!”

Maybe you don’t have any cymbals handy but take the time to reflect and to recognize what He’s done in your life – and remember there’s more to come!

Ephesians 3:20-21: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (NIV).

Your Revolution

Today, make a plan that makes these 6 days into a lifestyle. How will you impact our country or our nation’s youth? How will you reach the lost as a missionary in your community or around the world? How will you not just belong to the church but also be the church?

Prayer Focus

  • Pray that God would give you the passion and discipline to continue spending time with Him each day.
  • Ask God how He would have you apply what you have heard from Him during this fasting season.
