The people who walked in darkness have seen a great Light… -Isaiah 9:2 NKJV
It’s Christmas time and neighborhoods have their homes adorned with lights and other festive decorations. Maybe it’s your tradition to decorate your house as a family. Maybe your tradition is to drive up and down the nearby neighborhoods and marvel at all the decorations.
Decorating your home can be an outward expression of the light of love you feel inside. Unfortunately, not everyone who sees the decorations recognizes what they see.
You have been called to be the “light of the world,” to share the good news – that the Savior has already come and Christmas—complete with its decorations—is a recognition and celebration of the Savior’s birth. During this Christmas season, take some time to share the light of love that shines from within you.
- Thank God that He sent His Son to save you.
- Ask God to help you shine His Light where others only see darkness.
