His Faithfulness Never Changes

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” –Psalm 27:14 NIV

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” –Psalm 27:14 NIV

The Bible encourages you repeatedly to look with expectation for what the Lord will do in your life. Psalm 105:3-5 says, “let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done.”

When you give thanks for all God has already done, you will remember His faithfulness and gain trust in Him for your future. Another way to remind yourself of God’s faithfulness when you are feeling discouraged is to bind yourself with other believers.

You are not to stand on your own, but to surround yourself with others who will encourage and lift you up when life doesn’t seem to line up with all that God has promised you.

What is it that you desire of God? What is it that He has promised to do for you? It’s time for you to stop pitching a fit and to find other believers with whom to have a relationship so you can encourage each other to stand firm and believe with one another that God’s promises will be fulfilled.

Psalm 27:13 NASB says, “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” God is faithful, and He is unchanging. This means the faithfulness that you’ve experienced in the past is still the same today. God’s faithfulness will never fail you.

Prayer Focus

  • Thank God for His faithfulness and praise Him for all He has done and is going to do.
  • Ask God to bring people into your life you can encourage and beside whom you can walk.
