God’s Greatness

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

–Psalm 145:3 NIV

You are serving a great and powerful God. You are made in His image. As today’s Scripture states, no one can fathom His greatness.

The Lord is often pictured as a shepherd, gently caring for and guiding His flock. When you compare Him to what you experience on earth, you are limited in your understanding. He loves you with a love that is unimaginable—one that’s total and never-ending.

Jesus is the only way to the Father. When you accept Him, you are on the way to living with Him eternally. God has cleared a path for you and promised to be with you always (see Isaiah 41:10). God gives us assurance of His strength, help, and victory over sin and death.

Do you realize all the ways God has already helped you? Let go and let God help you through this life. He cares for you and has created you to glorify Him.

Prayer Focus

  • Pray acknowledging His greatness, power, and love (see Psalm 147:5).
  • Pray knowing that God loves you so much since you are called a child of God (see 1 John 3:1).
