God’s Plan for You

Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations – that’s what I had in mind for you. -Jeremiah 1:5 MSG

When it comes to God’s purpose for your life, He alone knows details of His perfect plan. Even in the midst of uncertainty, you can trust God’s plans because His ways and thoughts are never tainted by sin or unholy desires. His plans are pure, motivated by love, full of matchless wisdom and eternal purpose.

God has known and understood the plan for your life from eternity past. He also knows the plan for your eternal future. Therefore, you can have peace and trust God’s timing with the confidence that He knows what’s best for you. Ask God for wisdom, then wait patiently and get ready to respond when He provides instructions for action.

God has equipped you with everything you need for the special plans He has for you. Through good times and difficult times, the Holy Spirit will actively work to prepare you with His transforming grace. You might not hold the office of a prophet like Jeremiah, but you have been chosen by God to be His representative. As such, you have the opportunity and privilege of declaring God’s message of love, grace and redemption through your life.
