Known And Loved By God

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. -Psalm 139:13 NLT

While your parents may not have planned your birth, you are not a mistake or an accident. You were on God’s mind as you grew in your mother’s womb. Your gifts, talents and distinctive personality traits are all part of God’s plan and purpose for your life. He knows you through and through and loves you unconditionally.

God oversees every stage of your life, as His purpose is woven through the events you experience and the people you encounter. Some of those situations might bring a healthy dose of humility, while others will spur a passion in you that wouldn’t have developed any other way.

Every experience is an opportunity to grow and mature in your faith. Whether good times or bad, God is always there to comfort, encourage or rejoice with you. Nothing of your life experience is ever wasted; even in old age God still has a plan and purpose for you.

You are a recipient of God’s love as well as a messenger and a participant in God’s kingdom work. The things you learn and experience as a result of God’s work in your life become part of God’s message of love through you to the world. With this in mind, stay alert and be faithful with every opportunity to share this message.

Prayer Focus

  • Pray that God will maximize your life experiences and help you to live with purpose in every stage of your life.
  • Ask God to guide you in using your gifts, talents and personality traits according to His plan and purpose for your life.
