Leadership and Influence

The king’s heart is like streams of water. Both are under the Lord’s control. He turns them in any direction he chooses.

-Proverbs 21:1 GW

Presidential leadership is a privilege and responsibility that can influence lives for multiple generations. Good presidential leadership is a blessing that can benefit people on a global scale. American presidents have all faced unique challenges that have shaped our country and their distinctive leadership has left a legacy that is forever attached to their name.

You may not hold the official title of a leader, but you can lead with your life every day. One of the most powerful ways to lead and influence is through prayer. By possessing and occupying the landscape of your spiritual and natural spheres of influence, you’ll make a positive difference in the lives of those who lead over you. Leaders are like kings over you, so pray for them and ask God direct them on a city, state, and national level.

As a leader in God’s kingdom, you can influence your peers, your employer, your friends, and most importantly your family. Leadership is a ministry from God, and He’ll give you divine insights, strategies and favor to influence with wisdom. Leave your own legacy as you daily fulfill God’s assignment to live as His leader and influencer.

Prayer Focus

  • Pray for those who are leaders and influencers in your life as well as those in your city, state and on a national level.
  • Ask God to direct your life with insight, inspiration and God-ordained connections so you can be His leader and influencer.
