If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.
-Luke 16:10 NLT
True success isn’t about fame and fortune; it’s about a life that’s well lived. It’s about being faithful in the small things so greater things can be entrusted to you. It is about cultivating a heart so God-ordained inspiration can enlarge your heart and vision. Often this takes you outside of your comfort zone and challenges you to grow.
Your potential can be greatly maximized as you avail yourself to new and often surprising doors open to you by way of divine encounters. Sometimes this requires a willingness to go in a new direction as you respond to those events. While they may look very different from what you anticipated, those unexpected opportunities can often be the launching point to develop more of God’s purpose within.
Time and again the Bible makes it clear God is the One who orchestrates the outworking of the gifts and callings of His people. God won’t give you more than you can handle, so be bold and make room for the big ideas God has put in your heart. If He brings it to you, He’ll accomplish it through you.
- Pray for strength when God takes you outside your comfort zone or challenges you to grow and make room for more.
- Ask God to help you be bold and make room for the big ideas He’s put in your heart.
