“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” –Psalm 46:10 NLT
During a difficult circumstance, we need to stop, be still, and listen for God to speak to us. It is here that we can find shelter in God’s strength and peace.
Sometimes we can become so overwhelmed and try to work out everything in our own strength. We tend to forget God’s power and that He can work out every detail in our lives. There is nothing impossible for Him. Trust His character and choose to be- lieve. Hold on to His promises because our God will never fail us. Just as Psalm 46:1-2 (NLT) tells us, “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.”
There will be times of struggles and discouragement, but we must keep God as our focus. He is a mighty Savior who will sustain us during those difficult times. Surrender and let God renew your mind so you can rest in His presence. Nothing compares to the love He has for you. He is your strong tower and hope in every storm. Psalm 62:5 (NLT) says, “Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.”
- Ask God to help you find peace and rest in Him.
- Rest in the loving arms of God—they are open and waiting to embrace you.
