The Word Made Flesh

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory….

–John 1:14 NKJV

Since before creation, your Abba Father had a plan: to redeem all of humankind from the deceiver and the destroyer of this world. One Christmas morning two thousand years ago, the Prince of Peace was born. Surrounded not by royalty but born in a lowly manger, His birth ushered in praise, singing, and the applause of angels in Heaven—because the Word had become flesh. The Word, yes, the same Word who created Heaven and earth, became flesh. He became flesh to bring salvation to you.

This Christmas season, let Jesus, the Prince of Peace, dwell in your heart in a special way. Rejoice in the eternal hope you have in your Savior. Behold His glory as the only begotten Son of the Father, who brought peace, joy, hope, and everlasting life to all humankind.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:13-14 NKJV)

Prayer Focus

  • Pray that you will experience and share the love of God in a special way this holiday season.
  • Pray that as this year comes to a close that you will come to know Jesus more intimately.
