Revolution Prayer & Fast – Day Seven – Celebration

Praise the Lord. praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.

–Psalm 150:1-2 NIV

Do you feel closer to the Father after this week of prayer and fasting? When you draw near to Him, He draws near to you. When you pray, He inclines His head toward the earth so He doesn’t miss a word. What a wonderful Father!

1 John 5:14–15 (NIV) states plainly, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask— we know that we have what we asked of him.”

Thank God that everything you’ve asked for this week has already been given to you. You have faithfully prayed in accordance with His will for the lost, your family, the next generation of believers, the Church, missions, and your country. He is pleased that your faith is so strong that you boldly approach His throne to lay your requests before Him. Thank God today for all of the prayers He has already answered in this past week alone and for the ones He will answer in the days to come. Thank Him that He is the same God today, tomorrow, and forever.

Pray that God will help you stand firm in faith and trust even when the answer to your prayer takes longer than you expect or perhaps is fulfilled in a different way. You serve a God who keeps His promises, takes care of your every need, and gives good gifts to His beloved children.

Prayer Focus

  • Pray that God would give you the passion and discipline to continue spending time with Him each day.
  • Ask God how He would have you apply what you have heard from Him during this fasting season
