In Christ You Are Complete

… and in Him, you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority ….

–Colossians 2:10 NASB

When Jesus is in you, God the Father looks at you and says, “You have been made complete.” How does God see completeness when you see brokenness? When He looks at you, He doesn’t see your faults.

The Scripture says in Him we are complete. You are not, will not, and cannot be complete without Him; but in Him, you lack nothing. You may look in the mirror and say, “But I still need to lose five pounds,” or “I’m too short,” or “I wish I was prettier.” As you draw closer to Christ and reflect more of His perfection in your life, you will stop seeing imperfection. Instead, you will see what God sees, just as parents see beauty in their children.

Do you struggle with confidence issues? Do you look at others and compare what you don’t have to what they do have? God made you with unique gifts and talents that He didn’t give others. Thank God for that and operate confidently where God put you.
