Sunday | November 3 | Find God Through His Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. –John 1:1 NKJV

Reading your Bible and looking at the wall of words spanning from Genesis to Revelation can be daunting, but within the parameters of these 66 books contain glimpses of creator God. Each word of His story becomes a door that reveals our Holy God whose love for us spans generation after generation.

We have the opportunity to enter into God’s presence by spending time reading and meditating on His written Word every time we open the cover or Bible app. God has revealed His nature within the covers of the manual for living this life, and all you have to do is spend time with Him.

So next time you are pondering God’s Word, look for those that become the pathways He has placed there for you to experience Him. A passage of Scripture takes on a new light when you think about passing from this present world to the supernatural world where God exists.

Remember, He is all-knowing and full of love for you, and He wants you to have communion with Him. He has provided you with one way to reach Him, as He reaches out to you—read His Word and find Him.

Prayer Focus

  • I pray, Holy Spirit, open my spiritual eyes of understanding as I read Your Holy Word.
  • Thank the Lord for His Word as you get inspiration and insight to His truths.
