Where Do You Bring Your Burdens?

“Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest” -Matthew 11:28 NIV

Have you been experiencing restless nights? Do thoughts bombard you: a severe illness, a rebellious child, financial difficulties, divorce, or the loss of a loved one, just to name a few? Life can become overwhelming.  However, with God, you can make it through.

The enemy of your soul would like nothing better than to see you live with anxiety and stress. Don’t let fear take away your peace. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NLV) says, “We break down every thought and the proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God.

We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ.” Learn to speak God’s Words over your circumstances. Take your eyes off the situation and look up to God, who can handle the burdens that are weighing on your heart. You can tell God anything, and trust that He can perfect all that concerns you.

When challenging times come your way, profess, “I can do every- thing through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13 NLT). God the Father will do for you what only He can do. Believe in His word, stand upon His promises, and trust your entire life to His care.

When you bring your burdens to the Lord and leave them with Him, you’ll be encouraged to carry onwards!
